Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Program

The duration of the B.Tech program is four years. To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech program at RITM, candidates must adhere to the following criteria as per AICTE regulations:

Minimum Marks Requirement

Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (42.5% for reserved category candidates) in their qualifying examination.

Qualifying Examination Criteria

The qualifying examination should be the senior secondary, intermediate, or 10+2 examination from a recognized Board or University.

Compulsory Subjects

Physics and Mathematics must be compulsory subjects in addition to one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational.

Admission via Lateral Entry Scheme

In addition to regular admissions, RITM offers admission through the Lateral Entry Scheme for candidates who meet the following criteria:

Completion of a three-year or longer Diploma in Engineering/Technology course (after 10th class) or a two-year course (after 10+2) from Haryana Board of Technical Education or its equivalent with at least 45% aggregate marks.

Completion of a minimum three-year Bachelor of Science degree from a recognized university with Mathematics as a subject, securing 45% aggregate marks.

Admission Process

The admission process for the B.Tech program at RITM involves the following steps:


Application Submission

Candidates need to submit their applications through the official portal of RITM, providing all necessary details and documents.


Entrance Examination

Depending on the course and category, candidates may need to appear for an entrance examination such as JEE or any other relevant test.

Counseling and Document Verification

Shortlisted candidates are called for counseling sessions where their documents, including academic records and certificates, are verified.

Seat Allotment

Based on merit and availability of seats, candidates are allotted seats in their preferred branch of engineering.

Fee Payment and Confirmation

Once the seat is allotted, candidates need to pay the prescribed fee within the stipulated time to confirm their admission.
